Gotta Love It

ABC, the NCAA, and most everybody in the state of Pennsylvania gathered on Saturday night to see the Penn State Lions rip into Iowa and avenge (how I hate that word) the Iowa upset win last year in Iowa City. But a funny thing happened on the way to the coronation. Iowa beat PSU yet again, this time by the score of 21-10. Joe Pa is the greatest in my book, but let the record show that he has lost 7 out of the last 8 games to Iowa's Hawkeyes. Just thought I'd mention it.

Dancing with the TV

It's time for another season of ABC's "Dancing with the Stars." I love this show, and I'm entirely ashamed to admit it. Half fact, half farce, "DWTS" has a way of pulling you into the competition, even if you can't dance nor even walk in rhythm. I can't say that I need to see yet another of the over-the-hill Osmonds, nor some soap opera "actress." But DWTS is still just plain goofy fun.
